KEY

1. The Cliffs
2. Cavern Entrance
3. Inner Cavern: A small colony of bats inhabits this area. There is bat guano on the floor here.
4. Secret Passageway: This passageway and all other hallways in the dwarven watch are 5' high.
5. The Great Vault: Dozens of arches and flying buttresses shore up the ceiling of this enormous cavern 25' above, lit by diffuse light from three bright blue globes on three great central pillars. The 4th central pillar is dark.
The circular chamber is decorated with a bas-relief border depicting bearded dwarven legions fighting hordes of orcs and trolls.
The areas under the arches have been carved into niches, firepits, and areas separated by low stone walls; perhaps tapestries or curtains once hung before them.
There are 6 exits leading out of the room, including that from the secret passage where you entered. Large pillars stand before two of the passageways and statues of dwarven warriors line both sides of the corridors. 2 other passageways are undecorated. A set of rusty iron double doors indicates the 6th exit.
6. Lookout Points: A small round chamber with a single long, narrow window overlooking the Tesh River Valley. The window seems to be recessed in a crack among the rocks and is very difficult to spot from the outside.
7. The Forge: This room was a smithy; the anvil still rests here, with a warhammer lying upon it. Leather bellows stand unused beside the forge, and a small shrine sits in an alcove beside the anvil. The shrine has empty candle holders before it; the alcove itself is filled with an iron statue of a dwarven god holding up a hammer. All the blacksmithing tools are missing.
8. Armory: There are wooden racks lining the walls and standing in the middle of this windowless room.
9. Pattern Room: Nice blue pattern on the floor here--looks older than the rest of the designs.
10. The large, vaulted room is stuffy and makes torches flicker low. There are 2 dwarven skeletons lying near an altarstone on the far end of the room. A rusty helm lies next to one of them. A dark steel short sword still rests in one of the skeleton's hands. There is writing on one wall and a water wheel standing against the far wall.
